Houston, we have stripes
Well, almost. But for sure we have a finished pair of Jaywalkers.

Pattern: Jaywalker by Grumperina
Yarn: Knit Picks Sock Garden in Stargazer Lily, 2 skeins.
Needles: Addi Turbo 2.5mm
Started: November 26, 2005
Finished: December 3, 2005

Notes: I love, love, love, love, love, love, love these socks! They fit perfectly and are super soft! After I got past the initial frustration of figuring out my gauge, the socks fly by fast! I finished the first sock in two days. They are super addicting. Despite the fact that the Sock Garden initially pooled, for some reason, it just fell into place and stripes formed (for the most part)! The yarn is super soft and warm and I would probably buy it again. Even though the best stripes form at the foot of the sock, I don't mind. We have the no shoe rule at my house so it works out perfectly! Did I tell you that I love these socks?

I love, love, love the way your socks came out! They look great in that yarn, and I'm glad that you like the way they feel. Would you like me to include a photo and a link to this blog entry in the gallery?

Beautiful!
I'm sold on the Sock Garden just from reading your entry! I love the randomness of the pooling and the toes and heels -- a delight! Good job -- I'll have to try this pattern.

Wow, I love them! You are too good at socks! I've been having trouble with socks being too big... Will have to keep re-doing them. These turned out great. I love the smaller stripes on the heels.

In my stupor I haven't been able to comment!

They look great and I'm glad you finally got it all to work together. I say the pooling makes them look artsy, you could sell those for $100 at some boutique ; )

I really LIKE the pooling!!
I think the pooling you were talking about looks fabulous!!! It's all over - not just in one weird place, so it really looks intentional and truthfully, I love it a lot!!! And I think it looks so cool that the striping at the heels and toes looks thinner than the rest of the socks - that is too great!!!
